This exhibition is on Monday (15/10/2018) at Dulwich Picture Gallery. It is your chance to see all the art postcards (including mine and other more well know artists such as Tracey Emin, Antony Gormley, Julian Opie , Gary Hume and many others ) before they head to their new homes. The exhibition aims to raise funds for the arts at The Charter School.
Like schools right across the country, The Charter School North Dulwich faces funding cuts, losing up to half a million pounds from its budget over the next few years. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the school to support the Arts to ensure that children, from all backgrounds, continue to have access to the fantastic arts education they currently receive. Over 100 leading artists, including many contributing to this sale, have signed an open letter published in The Guardian newspaper criticising the marginalisation of the arts in the new curriculum.
