This is a another portrait of my son. I made for an exhibition with a computer game theme called "Game on". When my boy and his friends play games they get completely lost in these worlds. They become so animated and excited, they talk of nothing else. In 2012 when I painted this Joel was obsessed with Plants vs Zombies, a really great game. In this painting the game has spilled out from his DS screen and into the room, taking over his whole reality.
