In 2005 I became a mother, it changed my world, my outlook forever. I was connected and responsible for another small, helpless human. This painting is about my feeling of amazement at growing and creating a person and being aware that they can grow to do the same thing. Yet, as personal and amazing as this is to me, it is also an event that repeats throughout nature continually, tying us to other living things and the future as it forms.
