"Disquiet"
Oil and egg tempera on wood
80 x 60cm
"No tree has branches so foolish as to fight amongst themselves" This gem of wisdom from the Ojibwe people best describes this painting. I was unaware of this saying when I was painted this, but as soon as I read it I realised that is was exactly what I wanted to say about this picture. If all the branches are fighting you may as well be cutting through the trunk.
