This is my second egg tempera painting. A symbolic portrait, I was contemplating that even the best intentions can be corrupted when wielding power. In this painting a demon peeks over the top of the crown of a woman who has been entrusted with power. The demons reach extends, secretly, behind her hair drawing a single drop of blood at her neck as terrified she has to make the best decision.
