“Scavenge”, the top half of the diptych

In this top half of Scavenge (see the bottom part here) I focused on the suckers. These are the kind of fleshy, earthy growths that stretch out of the landscape with sharp fangs. They are menacing and just vacuum and snatch up everything in their path sending it downwards to scavenging inhabitants of the bottom half of the drawing.
