I have been experimenting with making my own wood panels to paint on. This is a really small painting I have just finished. I made it from some of the larger panel off cuts. It is an Oil and Tempera (or mische) painting. The size is 8 x 4 cm. I primed it with my own traditional gesso, a mix of chalk, this time marble dust and RSG. I am trying out different gesso recipes.
